I was looking for a shed and had been pricing them. I went to Recreation Unlimited just to look and compare prices. They had what I needed at a price that I liked. Said it would be delivered in two weeks. Then they called on Monday and said they could deliver it in an hour. Made me very happy!! Didn't have to wait and the guy that delivered the shed was very nice. They did a great job! I am very pleased with Recreation Unlimited.

We purchased a playset with the mulch package for our toddler son. Kaitlyn was phenomenal to work with and installation was fast! We only waited a week until they were able to install our playset and the men who installed it were quick and efficient and it was put together perfectly - very sturdy. The mulch package looks fantastic. The playset has been a wonderful addition to our backyard.

I enjoyed working with Recreation Unlimited to build a custom play-set for my daughter. Our customer experience advisor Shelia spent a lot of time with us in person answering all of our questions and was prompt to answer any follow-up questions I had by email.The team that installed the set was fast and knowledgable. Written by my husband because his review won’t post.. see below. Don’t let the positive reviews fool you, they are the exception not the rule!Buyer beware: you may think you are getting the best price, but they aren’t adding the same components to their packages as competitors or standard per manufacturer and when you realize it, it’s too late and you will be charged extra for the install. Don’t even try to price match , they will allow it but then overcharge you somewhere else to make up for it.An Example: Outback 6’ combo 4 does not include bubble panel like in pics from competitors or the manufacturer website. Also the competition charges $449 for bubble panel and they charge $749 (see site below) (they will honor it but then charge you for something else extra). I recommend buying from competitor and hiring a reasonable and good contractor to install it, whether it’s a hot tub or play set, you will not regret finding somebody else to purchase from, install, and/or service the warranty.Also buyer beware #2: post installation, YOU are nothing to them but merely a quick buck. No customer service… the GM? Nope don’t even bother with them. They don’t follow up and they don’t care unless they can bill you extra for omitting info about your original purchase. They don’t want to hear your issue nor do they want to be reasonable, they are too busybody . Example: we assumed the bubble panel was included but post installation we learned it wasn’t. We assumed it was included because we upgraded sets 2 times just to have it. We even told Sheila, our sales person, that we want it.. but nope. Not included we learned post installation so We called and added it and a couple other items BUT not without being accused of accusing them of being misleading… the vindictive GM, I can’t be the first one who thinks so. We never said that!! We said we believed it was included and we want to reach an agreement where we can meet in the middle, a very reasonable request like not charge anymore in install or cut the cost down because we are adding more items and are going to be returning customers, but that doesn’t matter if Alicia, the GM woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.When I spoke with my sales person post installation I agreed to around $5-600 in additional charges to get the bubble panel on our set and change couple things but Instead they want to charge an additional $299 to install. It’s not reasonable after we already paid $800+ just in install costs. (We originally we’re quoted 490 then it went up to 800 when upgrading. Because of the missing bubble panel it would add another $299 for a grand total of $1100+ for just install costs. The competitor below, although be it in another state so it’s a moot point charges $300 for entire set. This is unfriendly and disappointing even in this inflationary environment during summer of 2022, but don’t mention it! Otherwise they will hurt ur mood by responding with a vindictive undertone and condescending Attitude “did you just want us to do the work for free??” but don’t question it, We asked the GM to work with us and at least meet in the middle as our sales lady made it seem like it was an unnecessary charge “I even asked Alicia , the GM and she said leave it on” is what Sheila, our salesperson said when we inquired about the additional charges, referring to the additional install fee. Instead I’m made to feel silly for even asking to at least come to an understanding in order to continue our business relationship in the future.

This process was Great and Extremely easy to complete. I contacted them because a great friend purchased from them ant told me how great the experience was. He gave me Jackie's # and when I called she answered and I immediately knew from the beginning of our conversation that she was extremely happy to help. She walked me through the process and explained everything that would happen and I purchased a basketball goal. She helped me get set up to get the foundation for the goal and told me not to hesitate contacting her with any questions. I emailed her on several occasions with minor questions and she always responded within an hour with the information that I requested. The goal went up and my son had the biggest smile on his face when he saw it and that's what it's all about. I had a problem with a product I bought from Recreation Unlimited and it appears that do not back up their products that they r selling. Instead of dealing w the problem they hand it off to the Manufacture to deal with. I told Courtney several times I bought the product off of Recreation Unlimited and not off the Manufacture. She told me her hands where tied and this is what she has to go through. Do I want to speak to the GM cause She is aware of the problem and I said yes of course. Right into voice mail it way several times!!!! I do not recommend this company nor will I ever buy anything again from this company!!! Do yourself a favor and past this company up!!!!

My family and I recently purchased our first hot tub and had an amazing experience! We worked with Kaitlyn the whole time and her customer service was top notch! We had our kids with us each time we visited and she was extremely patient with us since our kids love running around and being kids. Avoid at all costs! The owner refused to cover property damage!I had a fairly positive experience up until I had to have my new hot tub serviced due to a few installation hiccups. My hot tub is recessed below my deck so I have a removable framing around it. In order to service the hot tub, the framing must be removed, along with the hot tub's front panel. Unfortunately, their repair tech Theo left us with two deep gouges in our brand new composite deck when he mishandled the framing.The day before the incident, the carpenter building my deck did an inspection of his progress with me and my wife. We combed it over and found no reason for concern. About twelve hours after he left, the next person on our deck was Theo, Recreation Unlimited's hot tub repair technician. I knew he was here because I heard a loud bang. I believe this is when he dropped the framing, which weighs 80+ lbs and has sharp metal reinforcing beams on the underside. I immediately went outside to check to see if everything was okay. Concerned about damage, I returned shortly after he left. It was immediately apparent: we were left with two fresh, deep gouges in one of our PVC composite deck boards.After several email exchanges with Recreation Unlimited's service department, we were asked to provide a quote for repair. Our builder explained that due to the fact that our boards are clipped in like tongue and groove flooring, it would require a two man crew two full working days to remove every board until they reached the damaged board. It's labor intensive. His estimate came out to be $1200 ($250 in materials, $950 in labor). The payment was to be made directly from one company to another, so I had nothing to gain.Alicia, their service manager, quickly responded that our contractor's estimate was "unreasonable" and declined coverage. At my request, this issue was escalated to the owner, Carey Riley, who stated that I needed to prove that Theo damaged my deck otherwise her decision was final. Well, this is a tricky thing to prove. A security camera wouldn't pick up on the gouges; I would have needed high resolution slow motion video or something crazy like that. After some consideration, I responded with what I believed was a reasonable offer: a signed statement from me, my wife, and our contractor (who represents a multi-million dollar company) stating that the gouges were not present prior to Theo's arrival. I added, "Since you're the one asking, do you have any other ideas for how I can prove this to you?". She replied with, "... there is no way to provide proof of something that did not happen. No., I am sorry a signed statement will not make a difference. I am sorry but my decision is final."So, there we have it. No matter what amount of proof I could provide, Recreation Unlimited was never willing to repair my property damage. Consider their service department's work "AT YOUR OWN RISK" or better yet, take your business elsewhere!Find a company who stands behind their work and treats your home like their own.

We bought a playground just two years ago and they installed it. Within two years, strong winds knocked it over. All the other playgrounds and outdoor equipment in our neighborhood stood strong. It’s embarrassing. We called to ask for help if anyone could come assess and Recs gave us the number to a demolition coordinating service. The winds weren’t even that strong. I was really disappointed when we called about it being blown over how nobody really tried to figure out what went wrong and told us sorry about your luck.

Being a disabled veteran with back and joint issues, I had always wanted a hot tub. Finally decided to take the "plunge" and went to Recreation Unlimited. Jackie in sales was kind, professional, easy to work with and helped us find the perfect fit. Mike in the installation area sent out Brad and Josh to set it up exactly the way we wanted it. Now, I can absolutely say, this is the single best purchase I have ever made. Highly recommend both the spa itself (caldera) and the staff. Will continue to use their services for life.

Great experience all the way through! Talking to them on the phone they advised me on specials they were running and when they would expire. Installation was scheduled through text messages which I love! The installation process was smooth and they were even able to do it ahead of the projected date. The product is excellent too!!! HiI recently ordered a freshwater salt system cartridge set from recreation unlimited. The delivery company lost my package. I contacted them and recreation unlimited.The next day I received an email from Nicole Whitaker stating that she had contacted the carrier and confirmed it was lost. She also stated a replacement part would be sent out same day.This is outstanding service from rec unlimited. Prompt courteous! I would def recommend and purchase from them again. Great service and great hot tub! It was so difficult to find much selection in 2021, but we found the perfect hot tub at Recreation Unlimited. It was also priced very fairly and we even received a nice discount after picking a duck from several floating plastic ducks that had various discounts on the bottom. It was a fun thing for my kids and our hot tub is better than we could have hoped. We LOVE the built-in blue tooth speakers too!

We recently purchased our new yard shed from Recreation Unlimited, and from start to finish it was a great experience. We had a section of fence removed, a gravel base put down the shed delivered and the fence replaced. The folks from RU kept us informed every step of the way. And they were great to work with. Do NOT purchase anything from Recreation Unlimited these crooks! I worked with Linzi Jones and Alicia Schilke (The GM) and they are incompetent liars. I purchased a play set and playhouse for over $12,000, I ordered the same thing that was on the floor and what came was totally the wrong set. I ordered the 6 foot version and they sent me the 4 foot version. I have tried to get them to fix the situation and they are unwilling to accept fault. You would think for $12k they could fix their mistake. DO NOT buy from these snakes!!

This is laughable in my experience. "Our friendly and knowledgeable team members are dedicated to your satisfaction." I received no satisfaction for a faulty product that was put together and after first use cracked. Company made it impossible for a return/refund said follow up with warranty from company even though I refuse to trial another product from the company. Women did everything in her power to not allow a refund. Said item must be unopened and unassembled. Also have to pay for Return shipping to send item back plus they would subtract shipping cost from my original amount paid.Do not buy from this company total scammers to consumers.

They were patient and were with me every step of the way while making our decision on a Trampoline and Goalsetter Basketball Hoop. I have been buying from them for several years and find they have a very helpful staff, an amazing showroom, and the highest equipment from brands like Goalrilla, Spring Free, and Woodplay. Jackie was great to work with. We had looked in our area (2 hours away) and couldn’t find anything we really liked. An online search led us to Recreation Unlimited. Searching their website led us to the Enamour Spa in the Fantasy line. A couple of phone calls to ensure it was what we were interested in and we were ready to buy. We actually did all the paperwork through email and did not actually visit their location until the day we picked up the spa. Being 2 hours away was outside their delivery area but the spa itself was really easy to move an set up. We were in it the next night. Will recommend both Jackie & Recreation Unlimited to anyone interested in a new spa.

I purchased a 60" Goalrilla basketball goal on December 30, 2020. At the time of purchase, they walked me through the installation requirements and told me the installation team would be in touch to setup an installation date. Cierra was in touch the first business day of the new year to setup an installation time. The installers arrived for the install on time (actually, a few minutes early) to install the base. They were gone in less than 30 minutes. The base was perfectly level (not that perfect is required). You need to be at your house to confirm location of the base but once they start digging you do not need to be home. You need to have a place for the dirt to be dumped. Recreation Unlimited also arranged for the utilities to be marked prior to base installation.The base needs to cure after the install. Two days after the base install, Cierra called to inform me when the goal would be installed. The installers arrived on the day Cierra told me they would arrive. You do not need to be home when the goal is installed. I was home when the goal was installed but they arrived, installed and left so quickly, I did not even notice they had arrived. Fast and efficient.Everything they said would happen happened and happened on time. Form start to finish, the process was quick and efficient. The goal is amazing. I almost bought a 54" backboard but ended up buying a 60" backboard and I am happy I did. The goal can be adjusted from 7.5 feet to 10 feet. The crank is smooth and you can go from 10 feet to 7.5 feet in about 90 seconds.If you are looking for a basketball goal to be installed you came to the right place - Recreation Unlimited. The grandchildren love it and I wish I had done it a long time ago.

Customer service is great! Linzi responded to my email within hours of my inquiry and we got my order placed over the phone the same day. I ordered a Springfree trampoline hoop that was unavailable in my home state and they shipped it to me for only $10. Another store in Florida had told me it would be $99 to ship the same item. You can definitely count on Recreation Unlimited for excellent service and fair prices.

Wasted two weeks, only to tell me they only service two brands of spas, which didn’t include mine. Seems like that could have been flushed on during the initial phone call. Then I had follow up question for Alicia, and she simply neglected to respond. Incredibly unhelpful and wasted my time. I’d give zero stars if it was an option. Explore other options

We purchased a spa from RU in early October. Because of Covid, the model we originally purchased was delayed by many weeks. Linzi and Alicia were so kind and understanding through our waiting. So much so that they found us a spa that they had on the floor, in stock that could be delivered before our hoped for date, Thanksgiving! They got to work and sure enough, we had an installed spa, up to temp with balance chemicals by Wednesday evening, the day BEFORE Thanksgiving. We love our new spa; it's exactly what we wanted. Huge shout out to both Linzi and GM, Alicia for getting us taken care of and dealing with the chaos of the truck sale! Many things out of their control (manufacturing/shipping dates, truck deliveries, etc.). However, they found what they could control and worked their hardest to get their customers taken care of. If you are looking for a spa or anything related, give Linzi a call. I trust she will work to get you exactly what you are looking for! Thank you Recreation Unlimited team!!

I purchased a shed from Recreation Unlimited, great service and the delivery was excellent. This was a great experience from start to finish.This also lead me back to them to have a bar built by the swimming pool, this thing turned out Great. Again, everything was great from start to finish. Recreation Unlimited did EXACTLY what they said they were going to do as a company. From the initial call, to installation the process was smooth. The text messages from Ciera kept you in the loop of the progress and she was very responsive. On the day of install, I was getting ready and heard something so I looked outside, there was the crew installing our new hoop. In the pouring rain, the two gentlemen that were installing it, were installing it as though it was for their own kids. I truly did appreciate that! Again, from start to finish the process was smooth and everyone that we encountered over the phone, text message, and the crew for the dig and installation were great. My son is thrilled and in these uncertain times, seeing kids smile is a great thing. So when he is not at basketball practice, I know exactly where he will be. Thanks Recreation Unlimited!
