My dad purchased a Goalrilla from Recreation Unlimited for us a Christmas gift. I paid $600+ to have Recreation Unlimited install it at our house. Some time in January, the backboard randomly shattered. I reached out to RU and they told me I needed to check with Goalrilla and not them. So I did. Goalrilla said it was covered under warranty and sent a replacement backboard. (It was back ordered so we had to wait a few months.) It arrived via freight and we made a plan to install but quickly realized we couldn’t handle this job safely with the equipment we have. I reached out to recreation unlimited to get a price on installing, they said they couldn’t take the old one off but could, for a price, install the new backboard after we found someone else to take the old one off. They referred me to service connection which quoted me $530 to provide that service. I find this situation ludicrous. Recreation Unlimited isn’t standing by their product they sell nor their installation of that product. The shattering was due to a defective product or possible bad installation - hard to say. In any case, it’s nothing we did. But between the $600+ initial installation and looking at another $800+ to get the new backboard on - I’m just appalled at the lack of customer service and lack of willingness to stand by their products and services. Avoid Recreation Unlimited. So far the only thing they’ve done is LIMIT our recreation and punish our wallets.

Bought a saltwater spa and could not be happier. Delivery and setup team was great and they were very careful with the installation on our deck making sure not to scratch anything. Separate person then came to set up spa salt and chemicals and spent ample time with us answering any questions we had.

We just got a new Cal Spa hot tub from Rec Unlimited! Natalie could not have made the purchase experience any easier and our spa was delivered and installed earlier than expected! Brad came out and gave an incredible tutorial about our spa and how to use/test the chemicals to keep it top notch. He even recommended I record it so I can reference back which I do constantly. Super easy process. Installed a Goalrilla basketball pole/backboard with yard guard and bounce back net. Purchase was easy with no pressure - coordination for installation was seamless and they worked with me as I jumped thru HOA approval hoops. As a child I always wanted an adjustable bball goal - the dream has now been realized! We ordered the CV60 Goalrilla on the early Black Friday sale 2023 from the Noblesville location from Recreation Unlimited - saving over $700 on the product and receiving a pole pad, base pad and backboard pad as part of the promotion. Jackie was great to work with and my 6yo son got to go nuts on all the playground equipment in store while I worked out the details. The ordering, location services, prep work and install were all FLAWLESS. In an age where customer service if deteriorating at a rapid pace, this experience was incredible. Communication was precise via email and text. The install crew of (2) was punctual, kind and professional - zero issues. Finished product is great and the neighborhood kids (and adults) are loving it. If you're on the fence with buying from RU - do it - you'll have a wonderful experience!

I was truly amazed that the installers were able to move an already built 10 x 16 shed navigating several obstacles and so were many of my neighbors. We have purchased a number of items from Recreation Unlimited over the last 10 years, including a Springfree Trampoline and a basketball goal. We used them for the initial install, as well as the relocation when we modified the driveway and needed to move the goal. I bought a hot tub from them online. They shipped it from Indiana to Michigan. The water wouldn't clear up after filling it. It was cloudy no matter what I did, what chemicals I used, what filtration mode I had it on (regular, UVC, ozonator). After about ten days, I emptied it and refilled it. Same problem. I had been in close contact with Rec unlimited the entire time. They were extremely patient with me and assisted me at every step. Kaitlyn was especially helpful. I must have sent her 50 emails over the course of a month! In any case, between the two of us, we determined that the filter pump wasn't working in my control box. They graciously agreed to replace it and even set up shipping so that the new control box came on the same day I returned from vacation. I hooked up the new control box and the water has been crystal clear ever since. So it was just a bad pump and Rec Unlimited was eager to make it right. Thank you Kaitlyn and Courtney and everyone else there who helped along the way!! I would recommend them and their products to anyone!

Recreation Unlimited did an exceptional job. I valued the fact that I didn't have to worry about anything because they had it all taken care of. The install team was amazing to work with - very kind and thorough. They took care of literally everything - they called to make sure the dig site was marked, they showed up exactly when they said they would to prep the site (dig the hole, mix the concrete, get the foundation anchor installed) and showed up the next time to fully build and install the hoop. I'm extremely satisfied with each phase of the process - their sales team, their customer service, their installers - they are all exceptional. We purchased The World's Safest Spring Free Trampoline from Recreational Unlimited and we love it! We bounce, jump, do tricks and exercise on it every day!! We also purchased a hot tub a few years ago from Recreational Unlimited, which we also love and daily enjoy! We recently purchased a Woodplay 6' Outback playset with the Combo 2 option for swings. She showroom and sales experience was excellent. It was great to be able to have our 3 grandchildren try out the equipment at the store. We were lucky that they had a cancellation and we were able to get it delivered and installed very quickly.
