We recently purchased a Woodplay 6' Outback playset with the Combo 2 option for swings. She showroom and sales experience was excellent. It was great to be able to have our 3 grandchildren try out the equipment at the store. We were lucky that they had a cancellation and we were able to get it delivered and installed very quickly. The two installers were clearly very experienced and pleasant to deal with. The grandchildren love it!

Very easy process. Went into show room, checked out a few different options. Had a sale going on, didn’t buy first day. They followed up, letting me know the sale was ending. Made my purchase. It's been 15 days since USPS confirmed they received my returned item (a week after ordered, within their return policy) and representative, Alicia has twice ignored my refund request.I ordered via Amazon then returned a Hot Spring Spas Freshwater Ag+ Continuous Silver Ion Sanitizer - 2 Pack because it arrived with no packaging, though it was advertised as new w/ photo in packaging. Alicia claimed, "they buy in large quantities so Hot Springs doesn't package them." At best, these were repackaged in manilla envelopes from a bulk box labeled, "not for individual sale." At worst, they "fell off the bed of a truck and repackaged for sale," or they're used, rendering them ineffective.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Let this be another reminder that the family owned small business isn't always honorable.

When I purchased my hot tub the sales rep told me I would need a dedicated 20amp run and a 20amp outlet. I purchased a 20amp outlet and installed it myself, only to find out, it was unnecessary. The installation tech told me that the hot tub plugs into a standard 15amp plug and draws 13amps. He said the salesperson was wrong.My home is a new build home with a standard concrete patio. Every concrete patio I've ever seen has a tiny amount of slope in it to shed water. The install people told me they knew that and would shim the tub. They did not do this. The slope is very small, however once the tub was full, you could tell it was an issue because one side of the tub was higher in water than the other, and the water was falling away from the filter and pump side. This will create an issue as water levels fall during normal operation.I reached out to Recreation Unlimited and spoke to my salesperson and they deferred me to the voicemail of the service department. I was astonished when the next day, instead of a call back, I received a text message that said this was not their problem and to contact the builder of the home! After spending almost $7,000, I couldn't even receive the dignity of a phone call to talk about the problem. All I wanted to know was if:A) they would come back out and shim the tub orB) if they would give me some tips on how to do it myself w/o hurting the tub or having to drain it completely to do it. They would have known this if they would have called me vs. text me.Overall, I am very disappointed in the lack of knowledge of not only the tub itself, but the electrical hookups needed and the installation "dump and go" of the delivery people.I will say, the actual tech that came out and plugged the unit in and went over the unit was very helpful and I have no complaints, in fact, he confirmed many of the issues I mentioned above were due to the lack of knowledge of the other people involved.Instead of it being my responsibility to call back in over and over to talk to customer service about shimming options for the tub, I hope this review leaves future buyers the awareness that they need to do their own research upfront because once installed, Recreation unlimited will wash their hands of your concerns via text message.If someone is interested in changing my experience with this, my contact information is on file at your office.Matt

Great experience start to finish! The sales team was very helpful and patient as we made our final decisions. (we worked mainly with Sheila) The delivery team did an excellent job working around our in-progress construction work and working through inclement weather.Brad Looper was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Brad did the final setup of our hot tub. Brad has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience with how to maintain a hot tub. Brad spent 42 minutes!!! giving a tutorial of maintenance, chemicals, and next steps. His tutorial was extremely well organized and thought out. He took the time to answer all of our questions and leave us feeling confident in our next steps for maintenance.We would not hesitate to buy from Recreation Unlimited in the future!

Said it would be delivered in two weeks. Then they called on Monday and said they could deliver it in an hour. Made me very happy!! We only waited a week until they were able to install our playset and the men who installed it were quick and efficient and it was put together perfectly - very sturdy.
