Common Basketball Hoop Installation Questions:

How does the installation process work?

Installation is a 2-step process that first involves digging a four foot deep hole, pouring the concrete, and setting and leveling the anchor. Once the concrete has cured (after about 5-7 days ), we will return to stand up the goal and you’re ready to play!

Do I need to be there during installation?

We require an adult to be present during the initial visit to give approval for placement of the anchor (this should only take a few minutes). After that, you are free to go. You do not need to be present for phase two, when we return to stand up your goal after the concrete has cured.

How much does installation cost?

Our standard installation fee starts at $599. The fee includes both the initial anchor installation and return trip to stand up the goal. Please note, we only install in-ground Goalrilla and Goalsetter hoops purchased from Recreation Unlimited.

Do you install commercial hoops?

We definitely do! We’ve installed basketball hoops for numerous, schools, daycares, churches and other commercial applications. Can my goal be installed during the winter?

Yes! Unlike some of the other guys, we install basketball goals year-round. As long as the ground isn’t too frozen for the hole to be dug, we can install your goal, even during the winter months.

Do you install wall-mounted goals?

We do not currently offer wall-mount installation.

Can’t I just install it myself?

In short, yes, it is possible, and some people do choose to install their own goal. However, if the idea of calling to find out where utility lines are buried, digging a four foot hole, filling it with concrete (8-10 bags worth), setting the anchor and making sure it’s perfectly straight and level, and then fully assembling and standing up a 300 lb+ goal, which will definitely require some friends to assist, sounds a bit daunting (and who could blame you?), we’re here to help.
