How do I maintain my Covana spa cover?

Cleaning the cover is essential in maintaining and keeping your cover in good running condition. Clean your cover as needed or when dirt, debris or leaves are present. When cleaning, only use water. During the manufacturing process, a protective layer is applied to the roof which protects against UV rays. Using household cleaning products will damage this protective layer.

Can the Covana be lifted by a child or intruder?

A person could not lift the cover once it is fully down and the key is removed. The cover locks in place. Once the cover is lowered and locked in place, the only way to remove the cover and access the spa would be to totally disassemble the cover with the use of tools.

Can Covana automatic spa covers ever close on their own?

No. Because of the “positive up” design of the lift system is engineered with the lifting jacks compressed to 60 lbs per jack. The legs of the Covana are designed to always want to go up or to be in the up and opened position.

What are the electrical requirements of the Evolution?

Your Covana cover will require 115V – 15AMP, which should be hardwired by a licensed electrician.

Does Covana come with a warranty?

Yes! Your Covana cover comes with a 3-year (structure, powder coating finish, cover, mechanical) and 1-year (electrical, other components) warranty.
