Avoid at all costs! The owner refused to cover property damage!I had a fairly positive experience up until I had to have my new hot tub serviced due to a few installation hiccups. My hot tub is recessed below my deck so I have a removable framing around it. In order to service the hot tub, the framing must be removed, along with the hot tub's front panel. Unfortunately, their repair tech Theo left us with two deep gouges in our brand new composite deck when he mishandled the framing.The day before the incident, the carpenter building my deck did an inspection of his progress with me and my wife. We combed it over and found no reason for concern. About twelve hours after he left, the next person on our deck was Theo, Recreation Unlimited's hot tub repair technician. I knew he was here because I heard a loud bang. I believe this is when he dropped the framing, which weighs 80+ lbs and has sharp metal reinforcing beams on the underside. I immediately went outside to check to see if everything was okay. Concerned about damage, I returned shortly after he left. It was immediately apparent: we were left with two fresh, deep gouges in one of our PVC composite deck boards.After several email exchanges with Recreation Unlimited's service department, we were asked to provide a quote for repair. Our builder explained that due to the fact that our boards are clipped in like tongue and groove flooring, it would require a two man crew two full working days to remove every board until they reached the damaged board. It's labor intensive. His estimate came out to be $1200 ($250 in materials, $950 in labor). The payment was to be made directly from one company to another, so I had nothing to gain.Alicia, their service manager, quickly responded that our contractor's estimate was "unreasonable" and declined coverage. At my request, this issue was escalated to the owner, Carey Riley, who stated that I needed to prove that Theo damaged my deck otherwise her decision was final. Well, this is a tricky thing to prove. A security camera wouldn't pick up on the gouges; I would have needed high resolution slow motion video or something crazy like that. After some consideration, I responded with what I believed was a reasonable offer: a signed statement from me, my wife, and our contractor (who represents a multi-million dollar company) stating that the gouges were not present prior to Theo's arrival. I added, "Since you're the one asking, do you have any other ideas for how I can prove this to you?". She replied with, "... there is no way to provide proof of something that did not happen. No., I am sorry a signed statement will not make a difference. I am sorry but my decision is final."So, there we have it. No matter what amount of proof I could provide, Recreation Unlimited was never willing to repair my property damage. Consider their service department's work "AT YOUR OWN RISK" or better yet, take your business elsewhere!Find a company who stands behind their work and treats your home like their own.

We bought a playground just two years ago and they installed it. Within two years, strong winds knocked it over. All the other playgrounds and outdoor equipment in our neighborhood stood strong. It’s embarrassing. We called to ask for help if anyone could come assess and Recs gave us the number to a demolition coordinating service. The winds weren’t even that strong. I was really disappointed when we called about it being blown over how nobody really tried to figure out what went wrong and told us sorry about your luck.

Being a disabled veteran with back and joint issues, I had always wanted a hot tub. Finally decided to take the "plunge" and went to Recreation Unlimited. Jackie in sales was kind, professional, easy to work with and helped us find the perfect fit. Mike in the installation area sent out Brad and Josh to set it up exactly the way we wanted it. Now, I can absolutely say, this is the single best purchase I have ever made. Highly recommend both the spa itself (caldera) and the staff. Will continue to use their services for life.

Great experience all the way through! Talking to them on the phone they advised me on specials they were running and when they would expire. Installation was scheduled through text messages which I love! The installation process was smooth and they were even able to do it ahead of the projected date. The product is excellent too!!! We ordered a Goalrilla basketball goal and they gave us a free basketball to go with it! Very satisfied customer.

HiI recently ordered a freshwater salt system cartridge set from recreation unlimited. The delivery company lost my package. I contacted them and recreation unlimited.The next day I received an email from Nicole Whitaker stating that she had contacted the carrier and confirmed it was lost. She also stated a replacement part would be sent out same day.This is outstanding service from rec unlimited. Prompt courteous! I would def recommend and purchase from them again. I left a message and waited 2 days and then Decided to go in. Just for a rude lady to say "oh ya I got your call and I don't know who told you we carry that product." Then told me a price on a custom product, which was way too high! I guess there was only one option? I doubt that! We have been pricing them. She honestly treated us like we couldn't afford their option. I will never step foot in there again. It was an awful feeling and experience. I didn't say hardly anything when we were there because well why would I give them the time. We just left.

Great service and great hot tub! It was so difficult to find much selection in 2021, but we found the perfect hot tub at Recreation Unlimited. It was also priced very fairly and we even received a nice discount after picking a duck from several floating plastic ducks that had various discounts on the bottom. It was a fun thing for my kids and our hot tub is better than we could have hoped. We LOVE the built-in blue tooth speakers too!

We recently purchased our new yard shed from Recreation Unlimited, and from start to finish it was a great experience. We had a section of fence removed, a gravel base put down the shed delivered and the fence replaced. The folks from RU kept us informed every step of the way. And they were great to work with. Bottom line, we are very satisfied and we love our new shed. And a special shout out to Linzi our sales rep. She did a great job!

Do NOT purchase anything from Recreation Unlimited these crooks! I worked with Linzi Jones and Alicia Schilke (The GM) and they are incompetent liars. I purchased a play set and playhouse for over $12,000, I ordered the same thing that was on the floor and what came was totally the wrong set. I ordered the 6 foot version and they sent me the 4 foot version. I have tried to get them to fix the situation and they are unwilling to accept fault. You would think for $12k they could fix their mistake. DO NOT buy from these snakes!!

This is laughable in my experience. "Our friendly and knowledgeable team members are dedicated to your satisfaction." I received no satisfaction for a faulty product that was put together and after first use cracked. Company made it impossible for a return/refund said follow up with warranty from company even though I refuse to trial another product from the company. Women did everything in her power to not allow a refund. Said item must be unopened and unassembled. Also have to pay for Return shipping to send item back plus they would subtract shipping cost from my original amount paid.Do not buy from this company total scammers to consumers.

I cant say enough about the Customer Care this Team at Recreation Unlimited has shown us. They were patient and were with me every step of the way while making our decision on a Trampoline and Goalsetter Basketball Hoop. When I had Questions, they answered them extremely quickly and they are extremely knowledgeable as well. Even though I had done research, there was some data I couldn't find, they were still there to answer those questions as well. When in doubt seek Recreation Unlimited out. You cant find better pricing either. Recreation Unlimited is the absolute go to place for basketball hoops, trampolines, and playsets. I have been buying from them for several years and find they have a very helpful staff, an amazing showroom, and the highest equipment from brands like Goalrilla, Spring Free, and Woodplay. Their installation teams have been fantastic to work with as well.

Jackie was great to work with. We had looked in our area (2 hours away) and couldn’t find anything we really liked. An online search led us to Recreation Unlimited. Searching their website led us to the Enamour Spa in the Fantasy line. A couple of phone calls to ensure it was what we were interested in and we were ready to buy. We actually did all the paperwork through email and did not actually visit their location until the day we picked up the spa. Being 2 hours away was outside their delivery area but the spa itself was really easy to move an set up. We were in it the next night. Will recommend both Jackie & Recreation Unlimited to anyone interested in a new spa.

I purchased a 60" Goalrilla basketball goal on December 30, 2020. At the time of purchase, they walked me through the installation requirements and told me the installation team would be in touch to setup an installation date. Cierra was in touch the first business day of the new year to setup an installation time. The installers arrived for the install on time (actually, a few minutes early) to install the base. They were gone in less than 30 minutes. The base was perfectly level (not that perfect is required). You need to be at your house to confirm location of the base but once they start digging you do not need to be home. You need to have a place for the dirt to be dumped. Recreation Unlimited also arranged for the utilities to be marked prior to base installation.The base needs to cure after the install. Two days after the base install, Cierra called to inform me when the goal would be installed. The installers arrived on the day Cierra told me they would arrive. You do not need to be home when the goal is installed. I was home when the goal was installed but they arrived, installed and left so quickly, I did not even notice they had arrived. Fast and efficient.Everything they said would happen happened and happened on time. Form start to finish, the process was quick and efficient. The goal is amazing. I almost bought a 54" backboard but ended up buying a 60" backboard and I am happy I did. The goal can be adjusted from 7.5 feet to 10 feet. The crank is smooth and you can go from 10 feet to 7.5 feet in about 90 seconds.If you are looking for a basketball goal to be installed you came to the right place - Recreation Unlimited. The grandchildren love it and I wish I had done it a long time ago.

Customer service is great! Linzi responded to my email within hours of my inquiry and we got my order placed over the phone the same day. I ordered a Springfree trampoline hoop that was unavailable in my home state and they shipped it to me for only $10. Another store in Florida had told me it would be $99 to ship the same item. You can definitely count on Recreation Unlimited for excellent service and fair prices.

Wasted two weeks, only to tell me they only service two brands of spas, which didn’t include mine. Seems like that could have been flushed on during the initial phone call. Then I had follow up question for Alicia, and she simply neglected to respond. Incredibly unhelpful and wasted my time. I’d give zero stars if it was an option. Explore other options

We purchased a spa from RU in early October. Because of Covid, the model we originally purchased was delayed by many weeks. Linzi and Alicia were so kind and understanding through our waiting. So much so that they found us a spa that they had on the floor, in stock that could be delivered before our hoped for date, Thanksgiving! They got to work and sure enough, we had an installed spa, up to temp with balance chemicals by Wednesday evening, the day BEFORE Thanksgiving. We love our new spa; it's exactly what we wanted. Huge shout out to both Linzi and GM, Alicia for getting us taken care of and dealing with the chaos of the truck sale! Many things out of their control (manufacturing/shipping dates, truck deliveries, etc.). However, they found what they could control and worked their hardest to get their customers taken care of. Recreation Unlimited did EXACTLY what they said they were going to do as a company. From the initial call, to installation the process was smooth. The text messages from Ciera kept you in the loop of the progress and she was very responsive. On the day of install, I was getting ready and heard something so I looked outside, there was the crew installing our new hoop. In the pouring rain, the two gentlemen that were installing it, were installing it as though it was for their own kids. I truly did appreciate that! Again, from start to finish the process was smooth and everyone that we encountered over the phone, text message, and the crew for the dig and installation were great. My son is thrilled and in these uncertain times, seeing kids smile is a great thing. So when he is not at basketball practice, I know exactly where he will be. Thanks Recreation Unlimited!

We purchased a pergola at Recreation Unlimited in June of 2019. There were repeated delays, and we finally got the pergola constructed in September. This year, on returning from our winter home, we found several issues with the pergola - the wood was not properly treated, the holes not pre-drilled properly, there are large cracks and splits in the entire structure. I keep hearing that the problem is with the company from which R.U. obtained the wood. I don't care, really, I gave my money to R.U. and they have yet to make this good. The problem was reported in March, and it is now mid-August. Attorney is our next step. Very frustrating!

Purchased a playset like everyone else did during the lockdown to keep the kids sane. Although there was a backorder due to high demand, it ended up arriving earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. Installation was on time and went smoothly. The quality of the playset is fantastic and my kids are loving it. Great company and great products. Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed with the wait time to have the goal installed (5-6 weeks) & then told a week prior to arrival that the unit I wanted wasn't in stock. During the application process I was asked if the installers could leave the dirt from their dig and I said 'no.' They did anyhow. The goal is fine, but there is more give in it than I'd like. My sales rep was very good & she handled the stock issue very professionally, but overall I'm not very satisfied with the experience.

As soon as the schools and parks closed for COVID, we started researching swing sets for the kids. After looking around at Amazon and Costco, we ended up going with RU for the quality and free install (they had a special going).We’ve had neighbors who bought from Amazon wish they had one a little bigger and nicer like the one we have.The installers were great. They took the time to put it exactly where I wanted it, confirming multiple times. They were really nice and professional, even during COVID.Overall, great experience. Oh, and we never even went to the showroom (again, COVID). We did it all over the phone which was very easy. The customer service team was very easy and pleasant to work with.

I am very pleased with the quality of my shed. The real star of the show was the installer. He saved the day by correcting the poor prep work that I did. And he spent as much time as necessary to make sure the shed was level in both directions. I would highly recommend Recreation Unlimited.

Worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Confession: I used to take our oldest child to the Rec Unlimited showroom in Noblesville to play all the time when he was little and I would baulk at the prices and say "Oh, I would never!" Well, I just ate my words and I've LITERALLY never been happier to do so😂🤦‍♀️ From the customer service on the phone to the the guys who came to install our new playset, the crew at Recreation Unlimited was amazing. Let me tell you, these two gentlemen who came to install our new playset were so sweet and worked so hard ALL DAY. Seriously, from 845am-545pm! And to see that they we genuinely just as excited to see how happy it made our kids during this super stressful and hard time we are living in (COVID19) made my heart melt. They even settled an argument between my husband and myself about the placement of the playset and we BOTH couldn't be happier with where they recommended we have it installed. I was so upset when we ordered it that there was a 4-5 week wait on installation, but now I know why. BECAUSE THEY TAKE THEIR TIME TO DO IT RIGHT!!! It's gorgeous. I wish I could give them 10 stars. We are definitely the envy of our culdesac now and can't wait until it is safe to have all their friends over to play on it💕💕💕

We got a really nice playset and play surface for our kids this year. Everything seemed to be the best quality we could find in Indiana. Also, you can go and tryout pretty much all of their playsets.We bought ours while one of the home shows was going on. They were running a free install special during that time. Also, when you go checkout their playsets they ask you to sign in. I think this puts you on the mailing list. We ended up getting a $100 coupon in the mail, so I would say it was worth it.As to durability, I cannot speak to it yet. The other reviews are great and our set is really well made. I’m sure it will require some normality maintenance. Also, the sales and install people were all great. The lady who helped us did not try to up sell too much. Both installers were friendly and polite to my family.

Our second time using RU to install a basketball goal. Both experiences were excellent. Work was done quickly and correctly, the crews cleaned up after themselves. Other than the presence of a new hoop, you never would have known they were there. We had our first hoop 7-8 years before we sold that home and had no issues. We don't anticipate any issues with our new hoop. Sales staff was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend RU to others.

She walked me thru the process and was very knowledgeable about each and every hot tub .She compared them for me and had me sit in them to "get a real fit' .That helped me decide.Jackie was patient and professional. All of the staff that I came in contact with, sales,set up and installation made this an easy purchase.I selected the Seychelles with the fresh water salt system and so far, it's great. The kids love our playset! We added a couple custom options (an extra slide so they can race, an extension that added 2 extra swings so our 4 kids can all go at the same time) and everyone was very helpful! Installation was super fast and easy! Being able to “test out” the different options and playsets and then also having something for the kids to do while you pay and do paperwork etc is really helpful in the Noblesville store ;)

Had a basketball goal installed. I was worried because I had to pay it all up front and I was worried about not having any leverage or recourse if something went wrong.However, there was no need to worry because everything went to plan exactly as scheduled which was planned on the day of payment.The goal is very nice and I am pleased. Great company to work with atleast regarding goal installation in the fishers area.
