APS Plastic Maintenance Free Playground Border with Spike, 8″ or 12″ Tall, Black or Green, with Spike

Playground borders from Action Play Systems are incredibly durable, and among the highest quality you’ll find in the playground equipment industry. These border timbers are versatile and will keep your play area looking new for years to come. Playground borders are useful for defining a specific play area and keeping loose fill playground surfacing (like wood or rubber mulch) within the play area.

APS Border Timbers are available in 8″ and 12″ height, and your choice of green or black. Each border timber is 52″ and 4″ wide. The 52″ accounts for 4″ of overlap, so the final length of each timber ends up being 48″ (4′). The border height you choose will depend on your surfacing. When using wood mulch, 12″ borders are recommended. If you are using rubber mulch, an 8″ border height is usually sufficient. Border timbers are made with 100% recycled material and blow molded construction.
