Description
On the fence between a traditional hot tub and a swim spa? With the Helios swim spa from Platinum Spas, there’s no need to choose! Get the best of both worlds with two separate water volumes. This allows the hot tub portion to stay nice and hot, while the swim spa section can be set at a lower temperature to enjoy a comfortable workout. The open swim spa portion can also be used for other types of low-impact exercise, such as walking or water aerobics.
Helios seats up to six people with four bench seats and one full size lounger, in addition to the full swim spa area. The Helios swim spa features a total of 53 jets in varying formations designed to target specific muscle groups. The spa is equipped with 3 x 6BHP pumps in the swim portion of the spa for powerful jet pressure. Plus, it has 2 x 5 BHP pumps to deliver a powerful massage in the hot tub portion of the spa. Each seat has individual pressure controls with adjustable jets, so you can get the perfect massage every time.
Helios has a fiberglass shell that is hand-rolled and features a high quality Superior Aristech Acrylic finish. Its maintenance free cabinet houses an incredibly durable stainless steel tubular frame. Since keeping heat in and energy costs down is a priority for Platinum Spas, the high density lockable spa cover and the premium multi-layer insulation do just that. A 5.5kW heater efficiently heats the spa water throughout every season, and the ozone water clarifying system helps sanitize the water and keep it crystal clear.
The integrated Bluetooth sound system means you can listen to your favorite tunes and podcasts as you workout or just relax. Stunning water features and multi-colored LED lighting create the perfect ambiance as the stress of the day melts away. Adjust your spa’s settings with ease via the Balboa Spa Touch 2 control pad. If you prefer to adjust your spa from your smartphone, you can even add the optional WiFi module for added convenience.

ENERGY EFFICIENT INSULATION
Uniquely designed to maximize heat retention, the Platinum Premium Shield reflects heat back inwards, so the “wasted” heat created by pumps and other components can be recycled. This heat is used to help maintain temperature through heat transfer via the vast amounts of plumbing. In turn, overall operational costs are reduced.
New foil-coated cabinet panels also reflect the cold air out of the hot tub while bouncing the heat back inwards for added efficiency. This innovative technology results in exceptional heat retention and a reduction in energy usage.
WIFI ENABLED CONTROLS
All Platinum Spas can easily be WiFi enabled with the addition of the optional WiFi module.
The Balboa Worldwide App (bwa™), is an app designed for iPhone and Andriod that allows you to access your hot tub via a direct connection. The app lets you start up your hot tub and change settings from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet, rather than moving to another seat or stepping out of the spa. Enjoy full interface control, including temperature adjustments, turning pumps on and off, and even setting filtration cycles.
